Construction of the transformational state-of-the-art skills and innovation centre at Gateway 14 in Stowmarket is complete – and it is ready to open its doors this summer.

Community organisations located near the Gateway 14 development are being offered a funding boost to help launch and grow local projects.

The Stowmarket Town Centre Gateway Fund was launched by Mid Suffolk District Council around a year ago, using income from the council’s investment in Gateway 14 on the outskirts of the town.

Freeport East has received final Government approvals today allowing it to move forward into the delivery phase.
The development of the Freeport, which is expected to create up to 13,500 new jobs, will be boosted by £25 million in Government funding to support infrastructure development.
